For Windows Word 2007/Word 2010 • Go to Insert on the Ribbon, click on the Header icon and then select Edit Header • Locate the ' Design ' located under the title 'Header & Footer Tools' Check the box 'Different First Page' • You will then see the new 'Header' area. This document contains instructions for doing a 'Different first page' for Microsoft Word for Mac and Windows. In OneNote for Mac, I don't see any thing on the Home tab about 'Basic Text'. I tried 'Clear All Formatting' under the Edit menu, but that didn't remove the double spacing. What ended up working for me was to select some other text that had single spacing, click the Format Painter, then 'paint' that format onto my double spaced text. Single spaced text.:) This is a total hack/workaround. I would think line spacing would be in OneNote for Mac. Hopefully one day the Mac and PC versions will have true feature parity. However, these methods still do not allow for custom line spacing. It seems that OneNote for Mac's default line spacing is single line spacing. How does one change single line spacing to 1.5 line or double line spacing or for that matter by points? Note: As others in this thread stated, for OneNote for Mac, the Paragraph Alignment button only has the options left, center, and right align. There is no Paragraph Spacing options and thus no line spacing parameter.
